For the first time, IWC’s iconic perpetual calendar—originally developed by Kurt Klaus in the 1980s—is integrated into a movement from the 82000-calibre family. The Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42 features a 42mm 18-carat 5N gold case, silver-plated dial, gold-plated hands, and gold appliqués for a refined, timeless look. The calendar displays the date, month, and weekday on three subdials, along with moon phase and leap year indicators. Powered by the IWC-manufactured 82650 calibre with ceramic components and a Pellaton winding system, it delivers a 60-hour power reserve. A brown Santoni alligator leather strap completes this elegant complication.
